Ashwake Studios was founded on the idea that creation often comes after collapse. The name reflects that cycle: "ash" for what's been burned away, and "wake" for what rises after. We're drawn to stories of resilience, transformation, and characters who fight forward.
Ashwake Studios is a film production company that was created by a young actor called Jeremiah 'Jay' Ansah. He utilises his connections in the industry to forge his own stories into films that everyone can enjoy and work within.
The whole point of this production company is to further push the agenda that creating films should never be a thing of status and influence, but rather of your own personal choice to change people's lives through storytelling.

How we came to be
Ashwake Studios was founded in 2024 by a very small team of passionate filmmakers with a vision to create impactful and meaningful stories through the medium of film. Our journey began with small writing projects to gauge our storytelling abilities, but our dedication and fire soon grew to a short film that we released in January 2025.
Over the months, we have grown and expanded our team, establishing ourselves as young storytellers IN the industry. We have had the privilege of working on a diverse range of projects, from short films to personalised content creation and have received critical acclaim for our storytelling and production quality.
